Pray the Stations of the Cross
Join millions of Catholics as they make a pilgrimage to the chief scenes of Christ's suffering and death. Visiting and reflecting upon the 14 Stations of the Cross has become one of the most popular Catholic Devotions.
These Stations are located in Blessed Sacrament. If you are unable to visit the church during Lent, please use there pictures to pray and reflect upon.
Beginning with an opening prayer such as "The Act of Contrition". Visit and reflect upon the scene; pray the "Our Father", "Hail Mary", and "Glory Be to the Father". Continue to the next station and repeat for all stations.
After you have finished all 14 Stations, end your visit with "May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in pease. Amen."
This is just an example of what can be said. Prayer can be very formal, or very personal. Keep this in mind and make it your own experience of prayer and devotion.
