What is it like to be white?
On Saturday, May 21, Blessed Sacrament hosted an information session entitled, "What Does IT Mean To Be White?" This session was based on the book White Catholic's Guide To Racism and Privilege by Fr. Dan Horan, OFM. This was the second in a series of information sessions to address systemic racism and its effects on all of us. Another workshop will be held on Saturday, June 25. All are invited even if you were unable to attend earlier sessions. Bring a friend - several friends! Come learn with us. These sessions are the work of our Catholic Social Teaching team led by Frank Kartheiser and Marua Pavao. Pictures below...
